General Terms & Conditions

  • The price stated to the contract include 24% VAT
  • Extra charge for fuel
  • When you collect the boat: Please check that the boat has enough lifejackets, flares, first aid kit, oars, anchor, rope and that the boat’s engine is in a good condition
  • The renter is responsible for the loss of the boat or engine, oars, anchors, etc.
  • The renter has to pay any damage done to the propeller or to any part of the boat
  • Safety equipments and accessories loss is extra charge
  • It is not permitted for anyone under 16 years old, or anyone who does not swim to captain the boat.
  • The boats should not stay more than 500 meters from the Corfu coast and it is illegal to enter Albania waters.
  • The boats must keep a distance more than:
    • 100 meters from the red floaters indicating the position of divers.
    • 200 meters from the external side of the sea markers for the limits where there maybe swimmers
    • 300 meters from the usual point where there are swimmers in areas with no sea markers
  • Operate at a safe speed at all time (especially in crowded areas), be respectfull of boys and other navigational aids, all of wich have been placed there to ensure your own safety.
  • Stay away from swimming areas.
  • The renter shall not use the motor of the boat near the beach where there are swimmers. Renter will be personally responsible for any injury he/she may cause.
  • You are not allowed to let any other than the renter to use this boat, do not allow swimming, diving or jumping from or near the boat unless motor is off.
  • You must respect the capacity of the boat (maximum number of passengers).
  • You are not allowed to beach the boat. You will be charged for any damage you may cause.
  • The renter shall not use the boat for any illegal purpose.
  • Drinking alcohol while using the boat is prohibited.
  • The renter is not allowed to carry passengers in excess of the stated capacity or use the boat for commercial purposes.
  • The captains of the boats must follow the International Regulations in order to avoid any crash into the sea and the boating must be done before sun rising and after sunset with the use of the navigation lights. The captains, who break the law, are subject to paying fines according to PD 381/95 (A214) and according to General Harbour Regulation No 20, which is published in the Greek National Gazette No 444/26499 and can result in criminal proceedings and penalties.
  • For the event of any misuse of the boat, the boat rental company has the right to retrieve the boat and terminate rental. No money will be refunded.

MAIN RULES:

  • Always give precedence to sail boats, rowing boats and generally to all boats approaching from your right.
  • When you cross routes with other boats always pass from their rear and never in front of them.
  • Do not go more far than 1.5 miles from the harbor of Paleokastritsa.
  • The boats must keep a distance more than:
    • 100 meters from the red floaters indicating the position of divers.
    • 200 meters from the external side of the sea markers for the limits where there maybe swimmers
    • 300 meters from the usual point where there are swimmers in areas with no sea markers
  • If you need to approach an area where there are swommers, maintant lowest possible speed and be on alert to avoid collisions or accidents.

Intellectual property rights

The website and its content are the property of Mr Spyros Ninos. You must therefore respect his rights. Without the express, prior and written permission of him, you may not distribute, reproduce, sell or transfer the information and materials in any form or by any means.
